Four Lions Break Out Of Circus Cage In Sheikhupura
Four lions on Wednesday night broke out from their enclosure at a circus in Sheikhupura, terrifying the locals.

After the circus cage was broken by heavy storm gusts late last night, the lions fled. Later, circus employees and rescuers managed to apprehend them.

The incident happened in Sheikhupura's Mela Pir Bahadur Shah neighborhood. A local Sufi saint's yearly festivity had the circus put up for it.

The lions escaped their cages and walked into a neighboring square. News of the lions' escape quickly circulated throughout the public, causing panic. A group of young guys with guns and sticks set out to kill the lions.

One circus employee was hurt during the event, but thankfully, he was treated right away.

After a few hours, the lions were safely captured by circus employees and rescuers before they could harm anyone else.

The event has been reported to the Punjab Wildlife Department, which has mandated an inquiry. The government is also verifying the lions' registration information with the circus management.

According to the law, it is illegal to use such hazardous animals for amusement, especially in circuses and public performances.

Animal rights advocates have denounced the practice of using hazardous and untamed animals for entertainment. Strict guidelines have been sought regarding the use of these animals in circuses.
