'Imran Khan, CM Elahi Could Part Ways Soon'
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi may not be on the same page in the days ahead after the statement by the PML-Q leader on ex-COAS Gen (retd) Bajwa and Usman Buzdar.

While speaking at Khabar Say Aagay programme by Naya Daur TV, analyst Muzamal Suharwardy said ex premier may not award tickets to CM Elahi or Moonis Elahi for the forthcoming provincial polls.

This may cause the PML-Q leader to become politically isolated like former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, he added.

In an interview yesterday, the PML-Q leader and Punjab CM had dismissed PTI chief’s criticism at former General (retd) Bajwa.

On Dec 17, the ex-premier announced to dissolve the assemblies next Friday and begin preparations for elections.

Last month, Imran said his party would distance itself from the “corrupt political system” by quitting the provincial assemblies.

Flagship Naya Daur TV show Khabar Say Aagay streams Monday to Saturday at 9pm.
