For the New Wave Global, host Syed Zahoor Raza interviews Dr. Zahi Zalloua, the Cushing Eells Professor of Philosophy and Literature at Whitman College about interconnectedness of the struggles for Black and Palestinian liberation, solidarity between the two movements, anti-Blackness in Israel, and Black Americans voting for Kamala Harris in 2024 US elections. Dr Zalloua is also the editor-in-chief of American literary journal The Comparatist and author of the book, "Solidarity and the Palestinian Cause: Indigeneity, Blackness, and the Promise of Universality."
