US Election: Pakistani-American PAKPAC backs Trump, claims Kamala Harris will damage Pak-US ties

For this segment of New Wave Global, host Syed Zahoor Raza interviews Dr. Uzma Rehman Ali, the President-Elect of PAKPAC's National Board, about the Pakistani-American Public Affairs Committee's endorsement of Donald Trump for the 2024 U.S. presidential election. PAKPAC has also campaigned for the release of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and believes that Pakistan's February 8, 2024, elections were "rigged." The organization maintains that endorsing Trump does not conflict with the broader interests of Pakistani Americans, and views Trump's previous anti-Muslim rhetoric and policies as mere "rhetoric." Dr. Rehman Ali is also a board-certified orthopedic hand surgeon based in the Metro Detroit area.
