Naila Kiani Sets Unprecedented Record For Pakistani Women
Pakistani mountaineer Naila Kiani has summitted Broad Peak, the 12th tallest mountain in the world.

With the summit located at a height of 8,047 metres, this was the last of the five peaks above 8,000 that are located in Pakistan that Kiani had to summit. This makes her the first Pakistani woman to do so.

Kiani has now summitted a total of eight 8,000 meters peaks out of a total of 14 that are taller than 8,000 metres.

She reached the summit at around 2am.

Apart from becoming the first Pakistani woman to scale all five 8,000-metre peaks, she is also the first Pakistani woman to scale Broad Peak.

In a message, Alpine Club of Pakistan Secretary Karrar Haidri congratulated the climber for a successful ascent.

Please pray for Naila's safe return from her incredible mountaineering adventure.
On Wednesday, Sajid Ali Sadpara climbed Broad Peak to complete his collection of all five 8,000-metre peaks in Pakistan and his eighth mountain taller than 8,000 metres.
