The opening ceremony of the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa will include a star-studded lineup.
The grandeur of film will be the centerpiece of the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, with a star-studded opening ceremony. Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit will perform at the event.
The show promises a fusion of elegance and talent, with performances by not just Shahid and Madhuri but also Shriya Saran, Nushratt Bharuccha, Pankaj Tripathi, and musical maestros such as Shantanu Moitra, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sukhwinder Singh. Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna will host the ceremony at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium. The film festival will take place in Goa from November 20 to November 28.
Madhuri will perform a combination of her chart-topping hits during the ceremony, saying, "Cinema has given me so much; it's time to give something back in return." What better way to accomplish it than via song and dance, which are integral to not only Indian film but also Indian culture?" Meanwhile, Shahid will be performing some of his great hits. "I've liked performing in front of a live audience ever since I can remember... Thanks to IFFI, I'll be able to do that again in Goa," he says.
