'Tu Jhoom' - Hundreds Attend Sufi Musical Night In New York
Hundreds of people from different walks of life gathered at the Sufi musical night and inaugural fundraising event organized by the Auliya Council of North America in Yonkers, New York last night.

Addressing those in attendance, the council’s founder, psychologist and neurologist Dr. Mehdi Ali Kazmi termed Sufism and spirituality as the way to bring peace and relief for humanity, irrespective of race, cast, and creed.

He highlighted that the sole purpose of the council’s foundation was to promote harmony and humanity.

Dr. Kazmi, who also heads his department at the Bronx Montefiore Group, informed the participants that he bought a considerably large church in Peekskill, New York and designated it for the council’s activities.

He further said that people belonging to any religion could hold their religious or cultural activities at the aforesaid center.

The participants were treated with the performance of Pakistan’s renowned singer Naseebo Lal and some appetizing cuisines.

The attendees left the venue with memories to cherish as the delightful gathering concluded at 11pm.

Auliya Council of North America has seen thousands join its ranks due to its diversity and purposefulness.
