‘Delay in Tea': Indian Man Decapitates Wife With Sword

An Indian man, Dharamveer, reportedly decapitated his wife, Sundari, in wrath fueled by a delay in getting his morning tea in Ghaziabad, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, near Delhi.

The horrible incident occurred at their house in the village of Faljagadh.

Dharamveer, a 52-year-old daily wage laborer, allegedly stabbed his wife 15 times with a sword before executing the heinous action. The vicious attack was motivated by Sundari's taking too long to prepare his tea.

Police Superintendent Vivek Yadav stated that the husband, who awoke a few minutes after his wife, immediately sought tea. When told that it would take another 10 minutes, he exploded in rage, resulting in a distressed end.

Sundari, who had started her day at 6 a.m. as usual, was assaulted by Dharamveer while she was tending to the stove. Their four children, who were sleeping in a different room, were uninjured. Soldier, the son, ran to the scene after hearing his mother's sobs but was helpless to stop the horrible incident.

"Dharamveer and Sundari fought with making tea," said Assistant Commissioner of Police Gyan Prakash Rai. He then pulled out a sharp blade and struck her on the neck from behind, killing her instantly."

Dharamveer was apprehended, and the inquiry into this horrific occurrence is underway.
