Real Madrid ‘Blank Cheque’ for Mbappe

Real Madrid ‘Blank Cheque’ for Mbappe
Real Madrid are willing to pay a ridiculous one billion Euros for French striker Kyllian Mbappe. The Frenchman is a hotter commodity than ever, as his eight goals following the four he scored in the World Cup Final - and his age (24) and consistent form - have skyrocketed his value.

Real Madrid have tried to get Mbappe before in the last transfer market season but, to the surprise of the entire footballing community, he rejected their offer for a much more financially lucrative one at his current club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), where his final year was made ‘optional’.

However, pundits cannot help but thinking that the 24 year old is looking increasingly more and more like a player that should play for Los Blancos: while Mbappe faced backlash from fans for “being greedy” and was criticized by Real Madrid’s long-time President Florentino Perez, Madrid and its fans still want him on their side. Even though Mbappe has not yet released a statement of any kind yet, it is likely that he will accept at the end of his last mandatory year at PSG.
