Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Junior, the grandson of former prime minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, is winning praise for his remarks at the inaugural Sindh Moorat March organised on Sunday.
He won over hearts when he interrupted slogans of Jeyay Bhutto (Long Live Bhutto) being raised and urged Jiye Awam (Power to the People) be chanted instead.
Asking those present to forgo Jeyay Bhutto, Zulfikar said: "I don't have a claim to Sindh and neither does my family. You are Sindh's (true) heirs... Long live the people!" He appeared to have concluded his remarks by invoking Hazrat Ali (RA).
Zulfikar was born to Murtaza Bhutto. His paternal aunt Benazir, who led the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) after, was the first woman in the Muslim world to be elected prime minister. His sibling Fatima is an author. Cousin Bilawal, Benazir's son, is both: PPP chairman and the nation's incumbent foreign minister.
Hundreds of transgender individuals and activists collected at Frere Hall in Karachi to protest against discrimination. Those present raised slogans urging equal treatment and their rights to be protected.
Praise for Zulfikar Junior followed.

An other powerful picture of @BhuttoZulfikar, he touching the feet of elderly transgender Binda Rana in respect. It's rare values of society. Salute to the real Bhutto. #JeayAwam #JeaySindh #SMM2022 pic.twitter.com/wUmNKxEowH
