The wedding celebrations of Pakistani cricketer Imam-ul-Haq began on Tuesday with a mehndi ceremony in Norway.
The 27-year-old national player is due to marry his fiancee, Anmol Mehmood, this weekend after returning from the World Cup 2023 campaign.
Imam was a member of the national team that recently competed in the ICC's showcase tournament in India.
This evening, there were glimpses of Anmol dressed in a gorgeous bridal gown from a local brand for her mehndi.
The bride donned an elaborately adorned deep red and dull gold gharara and shirt, accented with a splash of orange and purple for added oomph.
Anmol posted photos and videos from a gorgeous place somewhere in the Scandinavian country to her official Instagram account.
The designer also posted a couple of photos of the bride on their Instagram page with the description "Imam ki Anmol" (Imam's Anmol), tagging both the cricketer and his future wife.
Following the mehndi in Norway, the wedding festivities will begin in Lahore on November 23. The nikah ceremony will take place on Saturday (November 25), followed by a valima on Sunday (November 26).
According to reports, the festivities will kick off on November 23 with a qawwali night; however, the name of the performing group is unknown. On his big day, the left-handed hitter is anticipated to wear a Prince coat.
Cricketing talents such as Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and others from the national squad are expected to attend the joyful event. Former players and management personnel will also be invited.
