Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to take up the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan with 'powerful quarters', saying that he would speak out for the missing persons.
The prime minister expressed these views while addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kuchlak National Highway in Khuzdar.
During his address, the PM noted that the leaders who he met today said that development projects are important, but the issue of missing persons must be resolved first.
He added that he was making a promise that he would speak up for victims of enforced disappearances. The PM said that he would take up this issue with 'powerful quarters' and talk to them on the basis of law, justice and merit.
