Heartthrob music sensation Harry Styles recently sat down with Rolling Stone to give a candid interview where we learnt so many new things about the 28-year-old British singer-songwriter. While many have long been speculating Harry's sexuality (looking at you, Larry shippers), he has proven many times that he doesn't want to subscribe to traditional labels. His Vogue cover shoot in 2020 was iconic for many reasons: not only was he the first man to grace the prestigious fashion magazine's cover pages, he was also wearing a dress, that in turn led to so much discourse, in true internet fashion.
In the recent Rolling Stone interview, he admits that he has 'had his own journey figuring out his sexuality'. He says he has previously felt shame for having his sex life scrutinized so minutely, especially since he was still just figuring it out. "Sometimes people say, 'You’ve only publicly been with women,' and I don’t think I’ve publicly been with anyone. If someone takes a picture of you with someone, it doesn’t mean you’re choosing to have a public relationship or something," he said.
Harry also revealed that he is in therapy, and if this isn't your sign to start therapy as well, I don't know what is. It's 2022, there is no shame in having to go to therapy, and Harry sees it that way too. "I committed to doing it once a week. I felt like I exercise every day and take care of my body, so why wouldn’t I do that with my mind?" Without going into too much detail, he also mentioned that he's thinking about having children. "If I have kids at some point, I will encourage them to be themselves and be vulnerable and share."
