You've probably been unable to escape the Little Miss memes on the internet. The internet knows how to turn everything into comedic gold, and so it's no surprise that characters from a popular children's book series known as Mr. Men were taken to comedically poke fun at yourself and others. We decided to join in on the fun and mirth by imagining what 'Little Miss' characters some major Pakistani female politicians would be. Here's what we came up with.
- Maryam Nawaz - Little Miss Regal
You can't tell us we're wrong with this one. With that straight, almost regal posture, and near-perfect skin, Maryam Nawaz exudes regality and grace whenever she's in the public eye. Did she take lessons from the Queen of England? Who knows? - Hina Rabbani Khar - Little Miss Globetrotter
As a former foreign minister and the current minister of state for foreign affairs, no title is more apt for Hina than that of a globetrotter. She travels far and wide, as her job takes her to countries all over the world. - Shireen Mazari - Little Miss The HR Stands for Human Rights Not Resources
Shireen Mazari, the former human rights minister had the passion but not the resources to make the change that she envisioned. Perhaps one day we'll have a human rights ministry equipped with enough resources, but till then, the HR stands for human rights, not resources. - Yasmin Rashid - Little Miss Braveheart
You can't tell us that this image of her says anything other than bravery and resilience. Also not to forget all her effort in helping the country deal with the onslaught of the Covid pandemic. Braveheart, very much so. - Hina Parvez Butt - Little Miss Stylo
If you're as well dressed as Hina Butt, what else are you but a stylo? Also, the fact that she ran a fashion business before joining politics is only further proof that we have bestowed upon her the best title that she could get. - Sherry Rehman - Little Miss Sunshine
A climate change minister is always concerned about the sunshine, because too much of it leads to heatwaves, as Sherry Rehman has been warning us. Perhaps it's time we take her seriously and start looking towards saving the environment, like Little Miss Sunshine wants us too. - Marriyum Aurangzeb - Little Miss Chatterbox
And finally, the information minister gets the title of chatterbox. Always passing information, always on the phone, always communicating. That's Marriyum Aurangzeb for you.
