Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that no one will be 'sacked or removed' and 'all three' will continue with Prime Minister Imran Khan. The minister did not clarify as to whose sacking he was referring to.
While addressing a press conference on Thursday, the interior minister said that he has has asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Dr Sanaullah Abbasi to 'destroy' the individuals who are engaging in defaming the Pakistan Army on online platforms.
Referring to the dissident members of the ruling PTI, he said that nothing was final in politics and there could be early elections.
The minister further said that the opposition has made a hero out of Prime Minister Imran Khan in the last year of his government. He added that the country was facing inflation and unemployment but after the opposition's no-confidence motion, these issues have been forgotten by the people who are now standing with the prime minister. "The opposition made a big mistake," he told media.
Further, Rashid said that the no confidence issue would be decided in the next 10 days. "You will hear good news," he added.
