The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has announced that two members of the security forces were “martyred in an engagement with externally sponsored terrorists” in the Tump region of Balochistan. The fallen personnel were named as Sepoy Naseeb Ullah from Kharan and Sepoy Insha Allah from Lakki Marwat.
About the security operation, the military’s media wing noted:
“To prevent the move of these terrorists into built-up areas, security forces responded with all available weapons, in which terrorists suffered heavy losses.”
The martyred personnel were identified as Sepoy Naseeb Ullah fromf Kharan, and Sepoy Insha Allah from Lakki Marwat.
According to the ISPR, an earlier security operation in South Waziristan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province resulted in the deaths of at least 10 armed militants, including four commanders.
The military’s spokesperson stated:
“Security forces cordoned the hideout. During intense exchange of fire, 10 terrorists including 4 terrorist commanders were killed.”
