The harsh cold weather tested the tolerance of the residents of Lahore once again on Thursday.
Temperatures in Lahore were measured at 5 degrees Celsius. Aside from the extreme cold, the city has seen a rise in pollution coupled with the fog.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the city's maximum temperature will be 11 degrees Celsius and its lowest temperature will be 4 degrees. The cold wave will exacerbate the freezing conditions.
Traffic was also impeded due to dense fog.
The local administration has urged the inhabitants to avoid needless travel and to utilize fog lights.
