Farhat Shahzadi, also known by the names Farah Gogi, Farah Khan, Farah Gujjar, and many others, denied testifying against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, The News reported.
The former first lady's acquaintance denied testifying against the former premier and his wife and called the claims "baseless and false."
"Why, specifically for what reasons, would I testify against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi? I'm leaving Pakistan because I fear facing political reprisals there," she said, expressing her concern.
Farah said she never had an official post or a position during the PTI government. She stated that she held neither an official nor a party role in the Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
Earlier, Geo News reported, citing sources, that the loyal confidante of Bushra Bibi, who has been in contact with Pakistani officials for almost a month, is already collaborating and is very likely to turn against her and Khan.
The sources further stated that the PTI leadership had instructed Gogi and her husband, Ahsan Jameel Gujjar, not to cooperate with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other judicial bodies.
FIA authorities said that Farah, against whom incontrovertible proof of money laundering has been gathered, is missing in another country.
