China has strongly condemned Tuesday's terror attack on Karachi University which left four people dead, three of whom were Chinese nationals.
The Chinese Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Hua Chunying said on Twitter, "We strongly condemn the terrorist attack targeting Chinese teachers at [the] University of Karachi and express our condolences to the victims. Nothing will undermine China-Pakistan friendship."

The attack was carried out by the first female suicide attacker, Shari Baloch, of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). It targeted three faculty members of the Confucius Institute at Karachi University, as well as the Pakistani van driver who was transporting them.
A statement released by BLA's media wing stated that Shari Baloch was a mother of two children, and held two master's degrees. Her husband was a dentist, and her father was a director at a governmental organization. During her student years, she was also involved with the Baloch Students Organization (BSO).
In a press briefing earlier today, a Chinese spokesperson said that China expresses "strong condemnation and indignation" over the attack, and demanded that Pakistan should thoroughly investigate the incident, apprehending and punishing all perpetrators 'to the maximum extent of the law'. They also acknowledged the loss of Pakistani life.
It was also announced that the Chinese Foreign Ministry and its diplomatic missions in Pakistan have activated the emergency response mechanism immediately after the attack.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday, to offer condolences, and said that his government will not allow any force to undermine Pakistan-China friendship.
