Senior journalist Syed Talat Hussain has shared screenshots of his communication with the Geo News administration from the past when the admin was convincing him to stop conducting programs against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan otherwise Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) will shut down the transmission of the channel in cantonments and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
In a tweet, Talat Hussain shared the screenshot of messages and wrote that these screenshots clearly indicate who grabbed the neck of Geo News during the tenure of General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa as the army chief. "Who censored me for four years, and who was operating ‘Project Imran’?" he stated.
He further said that this all happened during the time when the 2018 elections were rigged.
In the communication, Talat Hussain is seen resisting censorship, stating, "I have nothing to lose. I am sick of this silent killing."
