A video purportedly showing an intimate moment between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Zubair and an unidentified woman has gone viral on social media, with the former governor of Sindh terming it a “new low in politics.” Zubair has claimed that the video is “fake and doctored.”

“Whoever is behind this has done an extremely poor and shameful act. I have served my country with honesty, integrity and commitment. Will continue to raise my voice for betterment of Pakistan,” Zubair wrote on Twitter.

Earlier in the day, the hashtag #ZubairUmar went viral after the mobile footage appeared, allegedly showing the PML-N leader in a bedroom with a blurred-out woman. Netizens hotly debated whether the video is real or not.
