Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry hit back at Pakistan People's Party chief Bilawal Bhutto, who had lambasted former prime minister Imran Khan for calling the Sindh government a "dacoit rule".
"Asif Zardari and his son have buried the legacy of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto," Fawad said in a statement on Tuesday. "The people of Sindh want to free themselves from Zardari's dacoit rule."
As the people of the province suffer following the floods, PPP co-chair's followers are pocketing Sindh's money, he added.
The PTI leader called the PPP chairman and co-chairman "facilitators" in ruining the country's economy.
A day earlier (Dec 27), Bilawal said the ex-premier had become a ‘thing of the past’ like former military ruler Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
“We will reject politics of lies and mischief. The ‘selected’ has become a thing of the past just like [Retired General] Musharraf,” he was quoted as saying.
According to the PPP chief, Imran wanted military’s involvement in politics. “Imran is worried because the army has decided to remain apolitical,” he had said.
