Pakistan, UAE Ink MoUs Worth Multi-Billion Dollars: PM Kakar

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) inked multiple multi-billion-dollar memorandum of understanding (MoUs) in a variety of fields here on Monday to promote economic and strategic cooperation, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said in a video message.

The prime minister, who is on a two-day visit to the UAE, stated that the signing of the MoUs marked the beginning of a new era of bilateral cooperation in bilateral economic and strategic partnerships.

Congratulating the people of Pakistan and the UAE, Kakar stated that the foundation of friendship set by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in the 1970s had been carried forward to a new age by his son, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Pakistan’s army chief, General Asim Munir, and the federal ministers were present on the occasion, while from the other side, all the important ministers of the UAE were also present.

PM Kakar expressed hope that the MoUs inked by the two countries will soon be translated into real initiatives.
