In true Taylor Swift fashion, the album will feature 13 songs, and will contain 'the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered' throughout the singers life.

After a messy break-up with her old record label Big Machine Records in which they sold the rights of her original masters to talent agent and record executive Scooter Braun, Taylor has been re-recording all her prior albums in a bid to regain ownership of her music. So far she has come out with re-recordings of her albums Red and Fearless, and released one re-recorded single off of her album 1989.

At this years VMAs, Taylor wore a sparkly silver dress that many fans have dubbed her 'VMAs Revenge Dress' in a reference to her seeking revenge on musician Kanye West for interrupting her acceptance speech and dismissing her on stage 13 years ago. She also won big at this year's event, bagging the Video of the Year, Best Long-form Video and Best Direction award for the short film accompanying the 10-minute version of her song 'All Too Well'.
