According to a press release, the film is an English film with Tamil and Welsh influences, and it explores themes of love, self-expression, and acceptance. The coming-of-age romantic comedy will be set in Wales and India, with Haasan playing Anu, a feisty private detective.

Haasan expressed enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing the need to capture Chennai's variety and distinctiveness.

Philip John, known for his work on Moon Dogs and the television series Being Human, expressed his delight about collaborating with the extremely talented Shruti Haasan. The filmmaker emphasized his joy in exploring the emotional arc of the drama, which takes place in the dynamic cities of Chennai and Cardiff. The film attempts to provide a new viewpoint on international film production by exposing hitherto undiscovered cultural aspects of Wales and India on the big screen.

Nimmi Harasgama co-wrote the film, which will also star British-Indian actor Viveik Kalra, who is now in the OTT film Lift.
