Ever since SAZGAR and GWM joined hands in 2022, the collaboration has been extremely fruitful. Be it the Haval H6, the H6 HEV, and Haval Jolion, an array of state of the art Haval Jolion have been introduced over the past two years, with Haval Pakistan establishing a stronghold in the Pakistani SUV market. Without doubt, their latest hybrid vehicle was highly anticipated even months before the official launch, and it is here now.
The Haval Jolion HEV boasts a 1.5L DHT hybrid engine, coupled with 190HP and 375Nm of Torque. Besides being a powerhouse of a vehicle, it comes with a lengthy list of impressive features: L2 Autonomous Driving, Ventilated Seats, Head Up Display, Adaptive Cruise Control, and so on. It is competitively priced at PKR 2,925,000/- with a booking amount of PKR 1,800,000/- and a delivery period 2-3 months. What makes it a very compelling option is the fact that the vehicle is priced where mostly petrol-only options are available. The release of this vehicle effectively means that Haval and SAZGAR are now to only automaker in Pakistan with TWO locally assembled hybrid vehicles.
In addition to the Jolion HEV, SAZGAR also introduced two new GWM vehicles in the past few months, namely the GWM Ora 03 and GWM Tank 500. Both of these are CBU versions for now. Moreover, SAZGAR and its commitment to a green future also includes SAZGAR’s EV rickshaws, with regular exports to Africa and Japan. As a result, SAZGAR has become a pioneer in Pakistan when it comes to the NEV (new energy vehicles) segment. It is a huge statement in the overall picture, one where SAZGAR’s commitment is clearly visible.
Recently, a launch event was held to present the Haval Jolion HEV officially. The event culminated into a night full of praise for workers and employees, encouraging words from the senior management, and a truly spectacular reveal sequence.
