PTI chief Imran Khan reportedly asked legendary former cricketer, late Abdul Qadir's family to visit him at his Zaman Park residence so that he could offer his condolences, no less than three and a half years after his demise.
The matter came to the fore after the former leg spinner's son confirmed the aforesaid development.
In response to a question whether he had been asked to make the visit, Suleiman said they were asked to visit the Zaman Park residence because "Khan Sahib wants to see us so he could offer his condolences".
"It has been three and a half years to my father's death," he said as he explained why the family decided against making the visit.
Furthermore, the right way to offer condolences is to visit the bereaved family to do so, he maintained.
