In Misbah's own words, ʻIt's about a feeling I once experienced and it came to me in these chords with words that just flowed out of me as I arranged the music.ʼ
The song was made about a year ago when Misbah was doing the sound design for a web
series called “Phaatak” when he had the urge to create cinematic music. Almost 6 months before the video was made, Hira Yousafzai, Zayan Agha, Taseer Ali and Misbah were discussing the concept for this song and we came with a concept for a murder mystery, about what happened after.
The music video, directed by Hira Yousafzai and Misbah Uddin featuring Eman Suleman and Sarmad Aftab premieres at 3:00 PM on YouTube on the 15th of September 2023.
"I remember at the time I had this urge to create cinematic music, and when I was making Laraztay I was visualising some sort of a murder mystery. Almost 6 months before the video was made, Hira Yousafzai, Zayan Agha, Taseer Ali and myself were discussing the concept for this song and we came up with a concept for a murder mystery. But later on we decided that the music video should be about what happened after that initial murder mystery. So if you’re wondering if the video has a backstory, it certainly does and we all decided to keep that back story to ourselves," said Misbah.
"This video was such a dream come true for me because from the very beginning I wanted the very talented and gorgeous Eman Suleman and the yet to be discovered superstar Sarmar Aftab. Eman and Sarmad are legitimately my most favourite actors from the industry and I knew that this video would not work if we did not get Eman and Sarmad. Both of them were
amazing and the entire crew would be amazed at how good they were on set," he added.

Misbah is a songwriter, singer, producer, musician and an audio engineer hailing from Lahore, Pakistan. His sound is emblematic of a dreamscape and contains words reflecting feelings of loss and nostalgia. He started making music at the age of 15 and started playing heavy metal. He was one of the founding members of the Pakistani heavy metal band Takatak and then formed the funk rock band Keeray Makoray with Altamash Sever before he started music he describes as Dream Pop under his own name.
