Police arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi Chapter General Secretary and lawmaker Arsalan Taj on Saturday night from his residence in Gulshan Iqbal, Karachi.
After taking Arslan Taj into custody, police shifted him to an unknown location.
While talking to journalists, PTI leaders Imran Ismail and Firdous Shamim condemned the detention of Arsalan, claiming that without filing a First Information Report (FIR), the PTI MPA was taken into custody.
They also claimed that police conducted raids at the residences of other PTI leaders, including Raja Azhar and Khurram Sher Zaman, but were unable to apprehend them because they were not there.
