The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India has placed a ban on Pakistani websites, two mobile apps, four social media accounts, and one smart TV app in fear of a recently launched Pakistani film.
The aforesaid Pakistani smart TV app has recently launched a web series, namely Sevak – the confessions, a few episodes of which created a stir in India and other parts of the world.
The web series unveils the atrocities of India's Hindutva government and extremist RSS on Muslims and Sikhs.
It narrates the Sikh genocide, attack on Samjhota Express, razing of Babri Mosque, inhuman treatment of Muslims and Sikh at the hands of Hindu extremist, and demolition of Muslims' monuments, in separate episodes. The incidents took place between 1984-2022.
Considering the series a conspiracy against national security and law & order, the Indian government has put a ban on the smart TV app.
