The ambassador spoke at a Peshawar event when the US Agency for International Development (USAID) donated $5 million in equipment to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Board of Revenue to improve its ability to measure land accurately.
After the International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently approved a package for Pakistan's assistance, the US has been supportive of the agreement between the two parties.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed support for the Pakistani people earlier this week while expressing appreciation for the loan tranche's acceptance.
Blinken posted on his official Twitter account, "We stand behind the Pakistani people during these difficult times and applaud the International Monetary Fund's acceptance of a project to help Pakistan.
He said on the microblogging site, "We encourage Pakistan to keep working with the IMF towards macroeconomic reforms and lasting economic recovery.
Blome was there for the occasion where USAID gave the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Revenue equipment worth $5 million to help it improve its ability to measure land accurately.
In order to boost accuracy and transparency in the land registration and record-keeping process and to encourage investment in the seven subdivisions of the newly amalgamated districts, the US has been working with the KP government.
Additionally, the United States disclosed new cooperation to strengthen the Ombudsperson Secretariat by educating staff members about women's rights and land settlement laws. The purpose of this effort is to increase public awareness of the important role that the ombudsperson plays in defending the inheritance and property rights of women.
