'Not For The Coward', Nawaz On Imran Khan 'Evading' Arrest
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has spoken up on the Zaman Park clashes amid attempts to arrest PTI chief Imran Khan, saying arrests are 'not for the coward'.

"Imran Khan has created a circus for fear of arrest," Nawaz said on Twitter. "If it was someone with even a little bit of bravery or dignity, he would have died of shame."

Such a man would have left politics, than to distort [their character] with cowardice or indignity, he added.

He also shared a piece of poetry towards the conclusion of his post, translating to "it is better to die with dignity than to live unhonourably."

Separately, PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that it is thugs and thieves who are afraid of arrest, not leaders.

Citing her father's example, Maryam said he never used his workers as a shield to protect himself, and he surrendered for an arrest.

She went on to add that Imran cites threats to his life when he is to appear in court, but has no threats as he leads a rally in Lahore.
