The Untouchables
We plumbed new depths on the media the other night when an exalted, untouchable min of The Great Khan brought forth a big, black, shiny boot and slammed it on the table. The gent is lauded for bringing the “Wow Factor” to The Khan’s horde but the discussion and walkout that followed were deplorable, leaving all stakeholders besmirched.
We hear the channel and anchor got an earful on the distasteful episode, which was well deserved but what about The Untouchable? It’s not the first time he’s made a laughing stock of the government.
Hurt & upset
Our mole in the clink says that former Premier SKA is hurt and upset at the way the Opposition, led by his Party, lined up to do the needful without so much as a by-your-leave from him and others languishing in prison. We hear he has sent a strongly worded letter of protest to The Man of Steel’s Talented Bro. The latter’s camp are saying that earlier SKA was on board and in fact, sent a message to The Man of Steel saying the Party should get on with it. Be that as it may, he feels he has not been consulted on the manner and matter of the legislation. His family and friends are imploring him to seek bail in what they consider are “baseless” cases but he is steadfastly refusing to do so. He says he will be exonerated and will not leave prison on bail. Currently in hospital, recovering from surgery, SKA is set to return to his cramped cell and the tiny patch that fronts it. They let him out once a day, we hear, and he tries to get as much exercise as he can.
