Dozens of people were killed or injured as Israel's air force hit the UN-run al-Fakhoora school and then targeted another shelter in Tal al-Zataar.

Thousands of war-displaced Palestinians were accommodated in UN-run schools in northern Gaza. Israel did not respond promptly to the strikes.

Only a few individuals remain at Gaza's al-Shifa hospital after patients, health staff, and residents who had sought refuge there were forced to flee.

According to the Israeli daily Haaretz, fresh facts have surfaced from an Israeli police assessment regarding Hamas' fatal attack on a music event on October 7, including the fact that the incident was not preplanned.
