Noor Mukadam's loved ones are holding a gathering outside the Islamabad Press Club on Wednesday, the 22nd of September, to demand justice for her on the eve of the trial over her murder. Organized under the platform of 'Justice for Noor' on social media, tomorrow's gathering will last from from 4:30pm to 7pm, and includes a vigil in memory of the 27-year-old, whose murder shocked the country.
Celebrities including Omair Rana, Mawra Hocane and Sohai Ali Abro have already endorsed the call for tomorrow's gathering.
The organizers from 'Justice for Noor' have also released a series of dos and don'ts for those attending the gathering.
Earlier this month, the loved ones of the victim and other supporters had protested on the occasion of the hearing of the post-arrest bail petitions of prime accused Zahir Jaffer’s parents. The protestors requested the court not to grant bail to Zahir’ parents, saying that they were complicit in the murder.
