The beheaded body of a man was found on the outskirts of Sindh’s Badin district on Tuesday, police said.
According to the law enforcement agency, they were informed about the discovery by the villagers. The man was later identified as Suleman alias Sulu Malah, aging around 50, they added.
Police furthered that the deceased had two wives and was living with his second wife. "He belonged to the Jati town of district Sujawal."
Initial investigation suggest that the incident took place late on Monday. The body was moved to Civil Hospital, Badin for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, the doctor said that they will require a thorough examination of the body to ascertain the cause of death.
On the other hand, late Suleman's son suspected his relatives' involvement in the killing, and asked for bringing the 'actual culprits' to book.
A First Information Report (FIR) of the incident could not be lodged till the filling of this report. After the report is registered, a thorough probe could be initiated to bring the case to a logical conclusion.
Last month, the decomposed body of a man was recovered by Thatta police from a well situated in the hilly area of Jhimpir.
Sources in the police department revealed that the man, Maher Ali Shah had gone missing in December, and was last seen outside a bank. Shah was an employee of the education department, hailing from the Sonda area of the district.
His relatives made resolute efforts to find him, but all in vain. Later, they lodged an FIR under Section 365 (kidnapping or abduction).
After registration of the FIR, police launched a multi-spatial probe and made the breakthrough with the help of technical experts.
Subsequently, they apprehended two suspects, identified as Ghulam Nabi Chang and Nazar Ali Chang, who confessed to killing Shah and stealing Rs50,000 from him.
