Scarsdale School: Assaulted Student’s Father Says He Is Being Pressured Not To Proceed Against Bullies
Paras Shah's father Imran Younas has alleged that he is being pressured to compromise and not pursue a legal case against the schoolgirls who assaulted her daughter. He made these revelations in an interview to a YouTube channel.

He said that he is being forced to make a compromise with the families of the girls who beat up his daughter in a video that has been circulating on social media for the past few days, and has invited a multitude of criticism from different sections of Pakistanis society. He alleged different quarters were telling him that if he didn't, "things would get very difficult for me, as these are very powerful people".

Imran Younas added that he and his children were settled abroad, but had come back to Pakistan to help realize Imran Khan's vision of 'Naya Pakistan'. He now deplored the current state of Pakistani society, where elites can resort to heavy handed tactics and face no repercussions.

Younas said his daughter was led into the cafeteria in the basement, and the cafeteria staff were there but nobody intervened to stop the students from ganging up on his daughter Aleeha, also known as Paras. "These people have no humanity," he exclaimed.

He also said that males from the 'high school' section were involved in the assault on his daughter, and that they were "instructing" the girls how to assault her. He went on to say that the assault on his daughter Paras continued for forty minutes, and that she had to be hospitalized for three days because of severe traumatic injuries.

Younas also said it took him at least five days to get the first information report (FIR) registered for the incident.

Meanwhile, two minors identified as Jannat Malik and Kainat Malik have submitted a petition requesting bail before arrest, in anticipation of legal proceedings for their suspected involvement in the assault.
