Caretaker Defence Minister Calls On PAF Chief 

Caretaker Defence Minister, Lieutenant General (Retired) Anwar Ali Hyder, visited Air Headquarters on Wednesday and met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), the PAF spokesman said.

The meeting covered topics related to the changing geostrategic environment and the regional security situation. A briefing on the Pakistan Air Force's modernization strategy and recent purchases from allies, intended to ensure an invincible aerial defense of the country, was given by the Chief of the Air Staff.

He also gave the dignitary a thorough briefing on the operational organization, force objectives, and plans for the force structure of the Pakistan Air Force, with an emphasis on future warfare.

The Air Chief emphasized the actions taken by the Pakistan Air Force to modernize personnel training and provide them with the tools necessary to successfully address modern challenges.

The Air Chief also provided details on the tough training programs and cutting-edge technology being used by the PAF, emphasizing the value of responding to changing security dynamics. The Chief of the Air Staff emphasized the significance of multispectrum operations in the fields of space, cyber, and artificial intelligence while highlighting the PAF's dedication to remaining at the forefront of contemporary warfare.

He also described how the Pakistan Air Force has changed its strategy to focus on developing homegrown capabilities in these important fields. Lieutenant General (Retired) Anwar Ali Hyder praised the courageous PAF fighters' crucial contribution to preserving Pakistan's sovereignty while expressing respect for their professionalism and devotion. He praised the PAF for its flawless reaction to natural catastrophes and tragedies, which demonstrated the PAF personnel's dedication to serving the country outside of their core military responsibilities.

The interim minister praised the leadership of the Pakistan Air Force for its foresight and proactive attitude towards the problems of contemporary warfare. Additionally, he reaffirmed his unflinching faith in the Pakistan Air Force's present leadership and guaranteed that the PAF would be outfitted with cutting-edge technology to keep it at the forefront of contemporary security issues.
