PTA Denies Reports Of Internet Blockade In Pakistan
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has denied the reports that internet was being shut down in the country. ARY News had tweeted that the government has decided to block internet across Pakistan in light of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march.

In a statement, PTA said that disturbance in internet services was caused by a degradation issue that communications company Transworld Associate was facing.

A spokesperson of the PTA said that this issue would be resolved and was currently being checked. He described the issue as 'minor' and said that internet services would soon be back to normal.
