Lahore Safe City Authority Assets Taken Away
Lahore Safe City Authority -- initiated to curb crime and monitor traffic -- itself stands deprived of equipment worth millions.

The assets have been taken away from various areas of the provincial metropolis, according to Dunya. The missing assets include a UIM and SS valued at over Rs700,000, two dozen batteries worth Rs480,000, a rotor worth Rs400,000 and a DCDV worth 150,000.

The assets were taken away from various city spots including Gamay Shah, Data Darbar, Education University and Rettigan Road. Officials first became cognisant of the thefts after a survey was conducted. Data Darbar police have been reached to initiate proceedings.
