The Indian military violated the ceasefire along the working boundary between Pakistan and India near Sialkot.
Light artillery and heavy machine gun fire from India in the Charwa Sector in Sialkot. Pakistan Rangers, who maintain the security of the border, retaliated with the same force.
While it was not clear whether the firing had caused any casualty on either side, social media was awash with images and videos of the heavy firing and busses full of people fleeing the border areas while multiple injured Indian soldiers were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Reports of firing in Charwa (#Sialkot) sector from Indian side. May all remain safe.
