Faisal Vawda Says Plan Being Made To Assassinate PM Imran
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda has claimed that there is a conspiracy to assassinate Prime Minister Imran Khan over his refusal to ‘sell the country’, in addition to the ‘foreign conspiracy’ of which Imran Khan claimed he had proof.

"There is a serious threat to Imran Khan sahab's life. I don't know whether you were read that part [in the letter] about the consequences. That is life-threatening," Vawda told ARY News anchor Kashif Abbasi on his show, ‘Off The Record’ on Wednesday night.

"There has been a mention of assassinating Imran Khan sahab," Vawda repeated.

When pressed if Vawda meant that the plan to assassinate the prime minister was also mentioned in the letter, Vawda responded that the letter gave the ‘impression of assassination […] killing’.

Asked again by the news anchor to clarify, Fawad stated that, "We are concerned and worried about our leader. A conspiracy is being hatched to assassinate Imran Khan." The PTI leader concluded, adding that despite the threats to his life, the prime minister was a ‘brave man’ who will neither accept dollars or allow bases to be built in the country, alluding to the United State’s request to set up military bases in Pakistan.

Earlier, federal ministers Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry had also claimed that the letter warned of ‘horrific consequences’ if Imran Khan remained in office.
