The author is a Punjabi activist and writer residing in the USA. He served as the chief editor of Punjabi magazine Sanjh, which was published in Gurmukhi from Ludhiana and in Shahmukhi from Lahore. He is Coordinator of the Academy of the Punjab in North America (APNA) and creator and webmaster of the largest Punjabi portal on the web, apnaorg.com.
