Still single
Just as The Great Khan has no plans to tie the knot again, our former bhabi, his first consort, has remained single. This is despite the fact that she’s highly sought after, and has had a string of admirers, amongst them actors Hugh Grant and Russell Brand. Her single status may be about to change, we hear. Her current beau Matthew Freud, a wealthy PR boss, is keen on marriage. Freud was previously married to media tycoon Rupert Murdoch’s daughter with whom he has two children.
Rocky path
The young and attractive social media sensation, also known as Qandeel Baloch, has been in the eye of a storm recently. Her famous leaked video with Mufti Abdul Qavi, in which the couple’s intimacy is obvious, has gone viral, but it’s worth noting that QB has travelled a rocky path to become the woman that she is. Ten years ago, she was a simple teenage student called Fauzia Azeem at a school in Dera Ghazi Khan when she made the cardinal error of falling in love. While she remained faithful and agreed to elope with her suitor, he got cold feet and abandoned her. She felt she couldn’t return to her parental home, and just took off for the big, wide world. From there it was an eventful journey to Multan, Lahore, Islamabad, South Africa, UK, Europe and back. By that time young Fauzia had become Qandeel Baloch. We hear the mufti had been pursuing her for a while, and they had become familiar with each other, so for him to now claim that he was “trapped” is pure falsehood.
Wheels within wheels
Whatsapp is awash with stories about the motives behind Qawwal Amjad Sabri’s gruesome murder. Extracts of a report from the Lone Rangers has apparently been leaked and has surfaced on social media. It has to do with Sabri going on a foreign fundraiser for the Pak Sarzameen party, and garnering a big amount of greenbacks for these detractors of the Quaid-e-Qiwam. According to the report, Sabri was warned off by the Quaid’s followers but he still chose to go, with the attendant consequences. The Quaid’s men have vociferously denied these allegations.
