Police have rearrested Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) chief Manzoor Pashteen upon his release from Adiala Jail after acquiring bail in separate cases.

On Thursday, Judge Shahrukh Arjumand granted bail to Manzoor Pashteen in the case related to a controversial tweet.

During the hearing, defense attorney Attaullah Kundi said that Ali Wazir, a co-accused in the case, had been released by the court. Kundi further reported that Manzoor Pashteen had been granted bail in two more cases by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).

After hearing both parties' arguments, the judge granted Manzoor Pashteen bail against surety bonds of Rs 30,000.
