NAB All Set To Detain Buzdar: Sources
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Lahore has decided to arrest former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

According to sources, the Nab requested the accountability watchdog chairman issue the arrest warrants for the former chief minister. As per the new ordinance of the NAB, Buzdar can be detained during the investigation as well.

Sources said that the NAB has decided to implement the new ordinance against former CM Buzdar.

It is pertinent to mention here that Buzdar failed to appear before the NAB 14 times.

Buzdar’s lawyer had appealed for his client’s exemption from appearing before the court, but that was overturned by the court.

An investigation is underway against Buzdar for assets beyond known sources, abuse of power in postings and appointments, and irregularities in tenders.
