Former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar and anchor Dr Nauman Niaz who had a spat on a live show on PTV sports have reached reconciliation after Information Minister mediated between them.
PTV News tweeted that the minister helped them settle the matter after he invited them to his house.

After settlement of the dispute, Niaz issued apology to Akhtar in a video. In the video, Niaz addressed Shoaib and said he was 'extremely sorry', adding that they have a 30-year-long friendship which shouldn't be affected by this episode.
Akhtar then appeared in the video and said, "It's fine." He added that Niaz should have said it a long time ago, to which Niaz says, "It's never too late." He then pats Shoaib on the back.
