“BC!”
A high profile society begum, lady of a loaded dynasty, apparently habitually addresses her chief Philippina with the odious Punjabi swear word “BC”. She has a number of Philippinas in her employ and they deserted their earlier employers to work for the abusive woman because she pays double the going rate. Since most of the domestic workers have been in Pakistan for years, they have a perfect understanding of Urdu. So, the woman’s crudity is not lost on them. Reporting the abuse to an online rights group, the chief Philippina vowed that she would leave her obnoxious employer once she’d saved up enough to meet her commitments back home.
Conspicuous absence
Signs of the times are out there for all to see in a forthcoming by-election in the Punjab. The late, lamented Big Ben’s party people have been begging their candidate to put Hubby’s photo on his posters along with ZAB’s, BB’s and young Bill’s. The candidate has refused to do so. “It will cost me votes”, he apparently declared to his party hierarchy. Apparently, the same sort of sentiment prevailed in the last by-election in Multan where too, the candidate was reluctant to affix Hubby’s image to his campaign.
At loggerheads
The internecine warfare in The Great Khan’s horde appears to be growing every day. The former Punjab Guv is said to be at loggerheads with many party stalwarts, principally those who are aspirants for Takht Lahore. Our mole reports that The Saint, who was amongst the first to spurn The Man of Steel’s attractive pre-election offers, and join The Khan’s horde, is out in the cold. Amongst his detractors are Our Bhabi, and all those who aspire to the highest office in the Punjab, once The Khan wins the next elections. (There’s no “if” about it with these folks).
