Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, while responding to a comment during the in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, reportedly said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was his boss and not a friend.

When Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam - F (JUI-F) leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said to General Bajwa that he came to the parliament but did not bring his 'friend' [PM Imran Khan] along, he said, "PM Imran Khan is my boss, not a friend."
Reports also suggest that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif spoke about Prime Minister Imran Khan's 'absolutely not' stance, but stopped short of naming Khan.
